This weekend at St. Mary of Egypt (May 8-9)

Christ is risen! Truly He is risen!

Here is the latest updates I have for the parish. Charles will be sending out the e-bulletin as well this weekend

1. Saturday May 8: Great Vespers is cancelled. Fr is serving Vespers this Saturday at St George in Fishers while Fr Yazge recovers from his shoulder surgery

2. Sunday May 9, Divine Liturgy at 10am as usual


Looking Ahead:

1. Saturday May 15: Great Vespers at 5pm

2. Sunday May 16: Baptism of Geovani and Chrismation of Ashley at 9am. Divine Liturgy at 10am.

3. Following divine Liturgy the parish council will host our first brief coffee hour outdoors (weather permitting).

Other Updates

1. There is no fasting in the church for 40 days till Feast of Ascension June 10.

2. Please remember to bring your money for food for hungry people. This is a special event each Lent . Please write your checks to St Mary of Egypt and earmark it FFHP and the church will send one check to the Archdiocese.

3. Zoom Classes resume by sbdn Mark continue on the old schedule

Sunday Bible Study at 1pm from the New Testament (teaching everything from Galatians all the way through to Titus ).

Wednesday evening at 7 pm continue reading Hymn of Entry by Archimandrite Vasileios, starting on page 46
