Food for Hungry People (FFHP)

This Lent marked 46 years of raising funds for the FOOD FOR HUNGRY PEOPLE & CHARITABLE OUTREACH Program. As a reminder FFHP is a yearly program by the Antiochian Archdiocese during Lent, reminding us to set aside what we would have normally spent on ourselves as alms to be given to those less fortunate.

After Pascha, this money collected by the families is put in the offering basket and earmarked FFHP. This year, you have to mail your checks to the church. Please write your check to St Mary of Egypt for the amount collected and ear mark it "food for hungry people" or "FFHP." If you took a box from the Narthax, please count the contents of your box, and send in a check to the church for the amount you collected earmarked FFHP.

You can also Zelle transfer to the church account. Please remember to earmark it FFHP.

The church will send one check on behalf of St Mary to the Archdiocese.

In Christ’s love
