Blessed Feast of St Mary of Egypt

Today, April 1st, is the feast of St. Mary of Egypt, so it is the feast day of our church. Typically, many Orthodox parishes would have a service tonight to include the full reading of her life. All Saints Orthodox Church, in Bloomington, has posted a video recording on their website with the story of her life. The video is in three parts.

With Father Athanasius’s blessing I am sharing the link to their website with you. https://www.allsaintsbloomington.org/

Please take the time to listen to the story of St Mary of Egypt.

Let us continue to pray for one another and touch base with one another during this most unusual Lenten journey. If you know of any unmet needs in our church community or if anyone in our parish has contracted the virus, please let Father Athanasius know so we can share this information with each other, provide help as needed and can pray for them.

In Christ’s love Amal
